Game on.

Book three is now properly underway, currently clocking in at just over 4k words. To give some perspective I’m envisioning the final piece to be around 90k words, so that’s about 4.5% complete. Woot!

Unlike the first two books, though, I’m tackling this one in a slightly different way by not writing it in sequence from start to finish (as you would read it ), but rather chronologically. This means that I’m writing part 2 first, then part 1, then part 3, as that is the order in which the events actually occur. This is to avoid writing myself into a corner, which is easily done when jumping back and forth in time.

Oh, and today I’m apparently working in Mordor. Who knew? It’s not actually as bad as the movies made out.
